The Universe Foundation

The Universe Foundation, founded by Danfoss A/S, has established Universe Research Lab. The objective of Universe Research Lab is to conduct research on the areas of learning and learning processes, future teaching facilities and learning styles.

The Universe Foundation is headed by Executive Director Mr. Peter Skat Rørdam assisted by Director
Mr. Peter Jyde Andreassen.


The board of the Foundation consists of:

Anette Clausen, Chairman of the Board
Charlotte Rønhof, Research Director at DI (The Confederation of Danish Industry)
Per Have, Managing Director of the Bitten & Mads Clausen Foundation and CFO at Danfoss

 

Anette Clausen is one of the driving forces behind the establishment of the natural science park Danfoss Universe and Chairman of the Boards of the Universe Foundation and Danfoss Universe A/S.

Anette Clausen shares with her husband, Jørgen Mads Clausen former CEO of Danfoss A/S, the desire to spread enthusiasm for the natural sciences and technology through new learning styles and informal teaching facilities.

 

Charlotte Rønhof is Research Director at DI, (The Confederation of Danish Industry), with responsibility for DI’s policy on the primary- and lower-secondary school area as well as on the grammar school area and research and innovation.

Among other things Charlotte Rønhof has focused on encouraging balanced cooperation between the universities and the business sector and she plays an active part in the current debate about Denmark’s further development in a globalised world.

Per Have is Managing Director of one of the largest foundations in Denmark, the Bitten & Mads Clausen Foundation, and CFO at Danfoss. For a number of years Per Have has held leading positions in the Danfoss concern, but in April 2007 he was appointed Managing Director of the Bitten & Mads Clausen Foundation. In spring 2008 Per agreed to join the board of the Universe Foundation.
