Wiki for Educators is a term humorously coined by Universe Research Lab for the first database designed for educators in Denmark. The purpose of the database is to give teachers, educators in general, pedagogues and others easy access to important information concerning learning, creativity, teaching and innovation.
The database contains theoretical references, concrete methodical instructions and a number of relevant tools. All references have been worked out by researchers from Universe Research Lab and they have all been reviewed by colleagues.
To the best of our knowledge Wiki for Educators is the first of its kind in Denmark. We expect to launch the database in early autumn 2008, but at present there are no plans to translate the database into English.
The database is part of the project Teaching Facility of the Future, which is sponsored by the Egmont Foundation and the Danish Ministry of Education.
